Visitors Welcome metal print by JD Brandenburg. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Stories abound of the patients that came here, when it came time to leave, would commit a petty crime just so they wouldn't be forced to leave. This place served as a home for the so-called insane. They grew their own food, had several stores on the property; it was a self sustaining environment.
